Sequoyah Elementary Library
Sequoyah Elementary library services over 400 students and 50 staff members.  Our collection contains roughly 15,000 materials and we average 250 materials checked out daily by patrons.   All students, parents, faculty, and staff can borrow materials from our library.

Thanks to our hardworking foundation, we have 23 computers and an Activ Board for student and faculty use.

Our library has a new parenting section that serves as a great research tool for our parents.   We currently subscribe to 15 periodicals geared towards students and teachers.  Our library has an extensive audio-visual collection that can be used by staff to enhance the Knox County curriculum.

Mission Statement:
Knox County Library Media Specialists foster an environment that enables users to appreciate reading and to access and evaluate information by providing resources and experiences that contribute to life-long learning.

We need many volunteers to help our library run smoothly.  Please consider donating some time with us this year.  If you can help as little as 30 minutes a month, we would greatly appreciate your help!  Please contact Mrs. Clark using the contact information on this page.
